Service
Factory Al-Azman Steel Galvanization
1
Quality Control (QC) Inspection
First our QC Specialists inspect and understand the state of the material to plan out the degree of processes required on the material in question
2
Degreasing
Material is dipped in degreasing chemicals, removing Oil, Grease, & organic Contaminants
3
Quality Control (QC) Inspection
Inspection of the degreasing process to ensure the process was successful
4
Acid Pickling
Material is dipped in acid to remove Mill Scaling, Rust, and any Material Surface Oxides
5
Water Rinse Two Times
Cleans Acid off of the material to prevent Iron and HCl mix in Flux step
6
Quality Control (QC) Inspection
Inspection of Pickling and rinsing process to ensure readiness for flux step
7
Flux Dipping
Material is dipped in flux to remove oxides & preventing further oxidation on the surface before galvanizing
8
Drying
Material is set to dry before zinc dipping to prevent thermal shock and pressure on the furnaces
9
Quality Control (QC) Inspection
Final QC Inspection before dipping in zinc bath to confirm that the material is ready for galvanization
10
Zinc Dipping
Material is dipped in molten zinc at a temperature of around 440-455 degrees Celsius, bonding Zinc to the material metallurgically to form a corrosion resistant coating
11
Quenching & Passivation
To cool the zinc coated steel, it is dipped in a water tank, then material is dipped in passivation chemicals to form a protective layer on the galvanized material
12
Quality Control (QC) Inspection
Inspection of the material to ensure compliance using a digital coating thickness meter to ensure compliance with the ASTM A123 standard for galvanizing
13
Finishing
Material is finished to remove any imperfections from the process and ready the final product for final inspection and dispatch
14
Final Quality Control (QC) Inspection & Dispatch
Material is visually inspected after all processes are complete to confirm confirmation of compliance with standards
